Thanks for posting this presentation. Very interesting...The one person on the planet who has successfully reversed RP for at least six months (Dr. Atul Kumar, AIIMS, New Delhi India) was using bone marrow derived cells delivered via intravitreal injection. He has since disappeared, unfortunately.
mom, do you have a reference for that study? When I searched for A. Kumar and RP in Medline, I come up with molecular genetic studies, but no clinical trials. Has it been published?
According to another patient, he submitted to RETINA in October-I have not been able to find any further information. So, maybe they chose not to publish his data.

I have also heard better results are obtained with umbilical cord stem cells. His work is ongoing.
